Nybro Crystal, started on a modest scale about 70 years ago. It is today run by the third generation of the Mellström family. Great technical changes have taken place, but the original craft skills, creativity and gift of several make up the heritage, which we guard with great care. At Nybro, skilled craftsmen work in co-ordinated teams.

A crystal sculpture enhances the lustre of the crystal, and Nybro has long specialised in the production of hand cast crystal. A mass of glowing crystal is poured into moulds crafted by our highly skilled designers. When cooled the crystal is then polished and decorated by hand. The collection of crystal sculptures is wide and varied, and the motifs vary from traditional Scandinavian to uniquely Australian animals, from creatures of the sea to sweet cats and dogs.
